Numbing Cream for Microblading and Powder Brows

Microblading, powder brows and lip blushing all involve repeated passes with a blade or needle across sensitive facial skin. The right numbing cream makes the procedure significantly more comfortable for both the client and the artist.

Which Formula for Microblading?

The NUMBX Beast Green range is the correct choice for all facial cosmetic procedures. Facial skin is significantly more sensitive than body skin, and the carrier formula in the Green range is specifically designed to minimise irritation on reactive skin types.

For first-time microblading clients, start with Green 40%. For powder brows or lip blushing where the procedure is longer and more intensive, Green 60% provides stronger and longer-lasting relief.

Pre-Procedure Application for Brows

   Clean the brow area thoroughly

   Remove all makeup, skincare and oils from the brow and forehead area. Micellar water or a gentle cleanser works well.

   Apply Green formula to the brow area only

   Stay clear of the eye itself. Apply to the brow bone and forehead skin above and below the intended work area.

   Cover with cling film or a small patch

   Secure gently with medical tape if needed. Leave for 45 to 60 minutes.

   Wipe clean before your artist starts

   Your technician will likely clean the area again themselves, but remove the bulk of the cream first.

Never Apply to Eyes or Mucous Membranes

Do not apply numbing cream directly to eyelids, lips (unless your technician directs you to specific lip products designed for that area), or inside the nose. NUMBX Beast creams are for external skin use only. Always follow the guidance of your cosmetic practitioner.
